Hi, I’m Bob Stilger and I founded New Stories in 2000. I now serve as President of NewStories. I created New Stories because I needed a new story. Before founding New Stories, I had spent 25 years as the co-founder and Executive Director of Northwest Regional Facilitators, one of the early community development corporations in the Northwest. We did some extraordinary work that changed people’s lives, but it was not leading to more healthy and resilient communities. I needed new stories about true community transformation. read more

The Learning Path Of This Summit
Each day we will go through these 6 steps, deepening our learning with every circle.
6 Step Circles Of Learning:
EXPLORE - LISTEN - LEARN - TRAIN - CONNECT - ACT
In This Summit We Will
go through these six steps every day, deepening our experience day by day in circles of learning.
EXPLORE the field of Dialogue
LISTEN to inspiring stories
We will listen to hearth-touching stories, hear about up and downs, emerging aha-moments,
road blocks and ways around them from some true pioneers in the field.
LEARN about innovative methods
Presented here are many decades of practical experience in working with Dialogue, be it in political, public or entrepreneurial settings and in all kinds of change processes. In those years new methods and further developments of dialogue have been invented and tested.
TRAIN Dialogical Skills
What are the most important skills to be trained and how to do that.
These will be presented and tried during several live sessions during the summit.
CONNECT with fellow Change Facilitators
Using some newly developed technologies there will be possibility to meet and connect with fellow change makers in small groups.
Thus allowing for exchange and networking also after the summit.
ACT and Support Projects
All learning only makes sense when it is also put into action.
Shared information and mutual support can help us get starting and keep going.
This is created as a gift-economy event, where you are warmly invited to participate in all sessions.
You may consider to give back with a donation or other creative option before, during or after the event.
“In dialogue, a person may prefer a certain position, but he or she is ready to listen to others with sufficient sympathy and interest to understand the meaning of others position properly, and is also ready to change his or her point of view if there is a good reason to do so.”
- Leroy Little Bear -
Why Should I Sign Up For The Dialogue Summit 2020?
Get In Contact With Hundreds Of Fellow Change Makers
Participating in the summit will connect you with hundreds of fellow change facilitators. One of the most important factors for successful change projects has proven to be the building of networks. Sharing information and experiences, giving and receiving feedback, willing to support each other by people that are highly motivated , and involved in change projects like yourself, is a huge resource. Therefor we have also created many possibilities to meet and greet and learn to know more about each other.
Change Is Still Possible
It Is More Fun Together
This is created as a gift-economy event, where you are warmly invited to participate in all sessions.
You may consider to give back with a donation or other creative option before, during or after the event.
Time left to get the work done
(until 01-01-2030)
Let's do it - together! Now!
